The pioneering Irish Whiskey bonders JJ Corry called upon Strange Hill at their very beginnings to provide support in advance of, during and after their initial launch. This included label design, consultation on messaging and creating sales and marketing support materials.  

As part of this project, we produced a comprehensive story book which formed the basis for marketing material, sales messages, website content, PR and social media. It included several different angles to appeal to specific markets, including the USA, where JJ Corry’s launch has been particularly successful. 

In 2019, owner and founder Louise McGuane launched a very special rarity – a 27-year-old single-cask, single-malt Irish whiskey in a limited edition of 100 bottles. Strange Hill provided design consultation for the packaging, as well as wording to promote this truly luxury product, which sold out before it even reached the market. 

As time has gone on, and JJ Corry has fulfilled its intention to be a true whiskey bonder by releasing special expressions and bespoke blends, Strange Hill has continued to support the brand with design work, content and messaging.
