Strange Hill set out to create a cold brew coffee liqueur which is not only cocktail-friendly but can be enjoyed on its own, or over ice.
Collaborating with renowned coffee roaster, Dumo Mathema we sourced the best single origin Grade 1 coffee beans from El Salvador and Cameroon, arriving in the 150lbs hessian sacks which gave the product its name. These two types of beans were roasted individually using our unique roasting profiles to highlight and enhance their specific flavour nuances when cold brewed.
The complexity of cold brew coffee creates a harmonious yet complex base for us to build our smooth and intense bitter-sweet coffee liqueur. Hundred Fifty Lbs Liqueur has an unbeatable depth of flavour, one that can be enjoyed simply on the rocks, as a replacement for sweet vermouth in a negroni or by indulging in its rich dark chocolate notes in an espresso martini.
