Strange Hill has worked with Havana Cub for many years, developing an innovative training program, The Blend of Cuba, and working on product launches, POS projects and liquid development of its limited-edition Professional Series of rums. As well as working closely with Havana Club to develop the rum for Professional Series: Edition B, Strange Hill also consulted with Havana Club to invite the highest calibre bartenders to work on the next two editions. 

Most recently, we were approached to find a new way to engage with a global audience of a younger trade related demographic through a competition format.   

Working alongside the Metallic agency, we devised The Havana Club Party Makers concept. A global digital competition designed to find and celebrate young talented party organisers. Contestants were asked to present a party outline with Havana Club being the main sponsor.

The programme was built around mentoring through a series of online masterclasses from well-known and established event creators scheduled from around the world. From over 600 entries, nine finalists received grants before being flown to Cubafor a cultural experience. Here, the overall winner was announced, receiving anadditional grant. The competition was built, launched and managed by Strange Hill.
