The Glenlivet, one of the most famous Scottish single malts, approached Strange Hill with a brief to broaden their appeal beyond the traditional.  

Working with readily available ingredients, we created a drinks strategy which targeted the home consumer with ownable cocktail recipes for summer social gatherings. Strange Hill’s involvement with the brand has also spanned to more elaborate product strategies which recruited immersive multisensory flavour perception techniques, gamification elements and molecular gastronomy for new and existing SKUs.  

We remained integral throughout these projects from initial concept formulation, taste testing panels, through to lifestyle and informative shoots of film and photography asset creation. 

We were additionally recruited by their innovations team on several occasions to bring new concepts and products to market, through consumer research and modern trends, using tiered drinks strategies to advocate and help consumers understand the new products and reach a wider audience, implementing radical new approaches for the brand.
